Our Clients
The client is a newly developed IT support company located in Japan providing customer support with an emphasis on local expertise for foreign business owners.
Responsibilities
General Description:
- Translation tasks such as reading, understanding and translating contracts, application forms and documents
- Writing down detailed instructions and action items in English and/or acting on behalf of the client to process
- Business research, such as visa requirements, subsidy loans and export/import logistics related terms and conditions
Specific Responsibilities
- Market research by consulting clients about their objectives/requirements, contact relevant organizations to obtain the necessary information
- Data entry from source documents within time limits, review data for errors, correct any incompatibilities
- Edit, publish and share engaging content daily on social media in collaboration with marketing team. Includes communicating with followers and responding to queries
- Strong knowledge of Tokyo and Japan lifestyle to be able to recommend and book travel, restaurant, recreation and other activities
- Provide real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts in multiple time zones
Job Requirements
- Fully bilingual in native-level Japanese and business-level English or above
- 1-2 year/s experience in secretarial/assistant position
- Excellent time & expectation management, communication, and PC skills
- Be comfortable/willing to learn in using various modern communication tools such as Slack, Skype, LINE, Chatwork, Zoom, MS Teams, Intercom
- Not afraid to fail: Always looking for ways to improve themselves and constantly asking questions
Preferred skill/experience:
- Prior experience in marketing/copywriting, translation, or interpretation
- Overseas work experience or experience working in a start-up
- Can-do attitude with a thirst for learning new things
